Education

When Jesus was just a boy, he amazed his elders at the temple by the wisdom with which he taught them. It is never too late to learn, or never too early. Our Sunday morning education program at 10:00 offers something tailored to every age. A caring environment with hands-on activities invites our youngest children to explore God's word.....even those in the nursery experience the nearness of God. Older youth are encouraged to grow in their understanding of faith through discussion and activities.

A special time of learning for younger teens/adults is during LWLC "confirmation" classes. The focus is on what we as Lutheran Christians accept as the foundations of God -- His person, His intent, His teachings. This is presented in various ways so those participating can come to understand and know God and develop a personal belief on which they can build their lives. This is repeated periodically in an abbreviated form for adults.

Adults explore the Bible, teachings of the church, and topical Christian materials while seeking to apply God's truth to their own life situations.

We are all learning. Many of us are just beginning to learn. Come as you are with what you do or don't know. You will feel welcome and at home.
